It's been awhile!

Well, how do you begin when you have been gone for so long? I have written and hit delete many times in trying to find just what to say! I picked a few of my favorite pictures out from the past few months to show just a little of what's been going on!

The Mag's has sure gotten to experience some snow this year! It has snowed and snowed and snowed! What fun! I have loved looking out the window to white! We still have small piles of snow left that haven't quite melted away yet! And now we have a possibility of snow again in a couple of days! This is one of those years we will talk about for some time to come!

I love these two! I have the greatest father for my Mags! Aren't they so cute together! He is amazing with her, so kind and gentle and FUN! He is an AMAZING husband too!

We have a new all time favorite toy! She runs our phones almost better that we do and she teaches us thing that we did not even know that they could do! We now have to implement iPhone breaks so we can play with the good ol'fashion toys! She is so smart and it is so fun to watch her learn more and more everyday!

What a delight!

The Mags loves to swing! She asked me to go outside and swing almost everyday so one cold day after her asking for the 800th time if she could swing, I had an idea! We are remodeling the house with exposed beams and 2x4's, so why not just install the swing in the living/dining room? Well anyway, maybe not ideal for everyone but very ideal for us! Nathan had the swing installed 2 hours after I mentioned it to him! And we have loved it! The swing is now down because sheet rock is being installed, but what a fun time we have had inside!

And finally a picture of two of my sweet sis-in-laws! I love this picture of them on Christmas morning! They are a special part of our lives and mean so much to Nathan and I! Maggie loves them so much and we wished they all lived closer so we could play more often!

We had tons of fun one night watching Miss Maggie play the piano! She climbed on the piano bench by herself for the first time this night and then right up to the keys! What a delight she is to us both! Forgive the sideways presentation all we could come up with tonight! Try to fix later!

Trampoline Time!

We had some fun on the trampoline tonight while Nathan grilled some supper. Here are a few fun shots of our soon-to-be 1 year old!

Our house is under contract, we put it on the market on a Tuesday and on the Saturday after we started negotiations! WOW! How quick! We have since then been looking frantically for a house, tried to put offers on two that quickly fell through and are now in the process of putting an offer on house number 3! (Did I mention that we now have 40 day until closing) The Lord's Best, that is what we want and nothing less, that is what I have to keep telling myself. Because I am pretty sure at times that I know best and that the first house is really the house for me. But, HE really does know best and I am learning more and more everyday of HOW MUCH HE LOVES ME and how I really can just totally and completely put my trust in HIM for EVERYTHING! ... even a house for my little family! So once again I put my hope in Him, " for Hope that is seen is not hope, for why does one still hope for what he sees, but if we HOPE for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance! So once again Lord, I give up house number 1, 2, and 3 and I put my trust in YOU! And I EAGERLY wait for what YOU have for us!

Maggie loves to play the piano! She crawls to it, pulls up and tickles those keys many times each day! She has also figured out that it will get our attention if she feels that we are too distracted from our priceless pearl! What a joy!

To grandmother's house we went! And boy was it fun!

We had a great trip traveling with Nana and Grandpa to Illinois to see Nathan's Grandma Peg! She had no idea we were coming and welcomed us with tears! She is such a fun and young grandma! She and I went for a walk in which she kicked my bum! I now know that I need to excersice more! Well I better go! Nathan and Aunt Kiki and Uncle I and Uncle Stephen have a soccer game and we are the cheering squad along with Aunt J and Hodge!

Baby Dedication Night was this last Saturday! What a BLESSING it was! We had a wonderful couple in the church that had prayed over Maggie! They gave her a plaque with a sweet word that reads...

Maggie, the Lord has adorned you with the gift of rejoicing. This rare treasure was spoken over you before the foundations of the world; not by man, but ushered from the heart of the Father into your very being. It is His endless act or shouts, dancing and rejoicing over you that stirs a radical response in return. This gift of rejoicing will ripple an effect of transformation in the hearts of those around you. You will make your boast in the Lord with great boldness-His grace and truth will lead the way. My little project... that turned BIG... too Big for me! I had to call in reinforcements...my wonderful husband whom is a great seamster (well if a female is a seamstress then shouldn't a male be a seamster!) But, it was all worth it in the end! We love our new revamped car seats! Nathan's is the striped one the left and mine is the pony on the right!

Mimi had been telling me all week that as soon as the leaves fall, she wanted pictures of M in them. So, Friday in the freakishly cold weather we all bundled up and took some fun pictures. I am so glad that Mimi wanted pictures in the leaves, not only did they turn out cute but I also forget to take pictures. I just get caught up in the day enjoying my baby girl! M was such a trooper in the temps.

Our 6th Anniversary!

M stayed with Mimi and Pappy and away from us for the first time last night for our sixth anniversary. She did great and so did we! I do believe that I had the best nights sleep I have had in at least the last 6 months. I did love the sleep but I love my baby more. She is so awesome and so worth every night of lack of sleep! Thanks Mimi and Pappy! We love you two!
